Terms of Service
Last updated June 14, 2026. These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of SkipChat. By entering the lobby or joining a live round, you agree to these terms.
Return to SkipChat1. Acceptance of these terms
SkipChat ("SkipChat," "we," "us," or "our") provides an anonymous, scheduled live video chat service (the "Service"). These terms form a binding agreement between you and SkipChat.
If you do not agree to these terms, do not access or use the Service.
2. Eligibility (18+)
The Service is intended only for adults. You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction if higher, to use SkipChat.
By using the Service you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement and that you are legally permitted to use an adult live video service where you are located.
3. The Service
SkipChat matches consenting adults into one-to-one live video rounds during scheduled availability windows. Each round begins with a protected, pre-reveal phase, and clear video unlocks only when both participants independently choose to reveal.
The Service is provided on an anonymous, account-free basis. We may add, change, suspend, or remove features at any time.
4. Anonymous, account-free access
SkipChat does not require you to create an account or provide a public identity. Temporary sessions are used only to operate eligibility, matching, reporting, and moderation.
You are responsible for your own conduct and for anything that happens during your sessions.
5. Acceptable use
Use SkipChat only for lawful, consensual interactions with other adults. Treat other participants with respect.
6. Prohibited conduct
You agree not to: involve, depict, or solicit anyone under 18; harass, threaten, stalk, or abuse others; share content that is illegal, non-consensual, or sexually exploitative of minors; impersonate others or misrepresent your identity or age; record, screenshot, or redistribute another participant's audio, video, or likeness without their consent; transmit malware or attempt to disrupt, reverse engineer, or bypass the Service or its safety systems; or use the Service for spam, solicitation, fraud, or any unlawful purpose.
Violations may result in immediate removal and a ban.
7. Reporting, moderation, and enforcement
You can report unsafe or abusive behavior from within the round flow. We may review reports and safety signals and may, at our discretion, end sessions, restrict access, or ban participants.
We may preserve moderation records to investigate abuse and prevent repeat harm. Do not submit false or retaliatory reports.
8. Live video and consent
SkipChat is built around live, ephemeral video and is not designed to store recordings of your rounds. Recording or capturing another participant without consent is prohibited and may be unlawful.
9. Intellectual property
The Service, including its software, design, and branding, is owned by SkipChat and protected by applicable laws. You receive a limited, revocable, non-transferable license to use the Service for its intended purpose.
10. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not control and are not responsible for the conduct of other participants.
11. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, SkipChat will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss arising from your use of or inability to use the Service or from the conduct of other participants.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes take effect when we post the updated terms. Your continued use of the Service after an update means you accept the revised terms.
